Wonders of Technology. The Ezlink Card.

Sometime in the future, we will have chips embedded in our brains that will enable us to download knowledge and skills, just like when you need to transfer your files between, let's say, a USB thumbdrive and a computer.

So, if you find your friend a little bit stupid that day, or his jokes cannot make it, you can ask him to use his EZ Link card to top up his IQ.

no one sees the downside to our position being known all the time?

we then lose all our privacy as every moment, we are being tracked.
something to think about...
i'd like for the ezlink to stop at where it is now, with cards not having an identity linked to them.
admittedly though, i think its only a matter of time before we have chips in our head. if we disobey, they switch it off...

And don't ever count out the hackers. When it comes to technology they're always at the forefront. Even though Die Hard 4.0 is just a movie but never rule out the possibilities of it becoming a reality. Cyber terrorism can be very real.

Depending too much on technology doesn't always mean it's convenient, sometimes it just shows how lazy you can be.

Ok that's my 2 cents.

yes of course, one should NEVER rely heavily on technology... it is bound to crash down on you... (die hard 4.0 is bad enough... how about terminator 3? lol)

I think using ez-link for taxis is good, cause sometimes you really have no cash to give to the uncle, can go to the final resort, the ez-link.

And Then, i was amazed when you can top up your Ezlink at 7 Eleven.

I was damn annoyed by this. Several 7-11 are very small. For e.g., the one in hougang central... I always go to 7-11 to buy slurpee or big gulp but there's always someone like trying to pay something or top up something and the queue gets longer and longer and everyone was squeezing... Another example is the 7-11 outside peninsular... Also very small.

Got use oredi what..

haha!
maybe we don't need key for our door anymore.
just slip the ezlink and it will open.
HAHA!
hu knows?
hahahaha

Aiyo this idea got use oredi what...On Ite college east teachers open their classrooms and office using their ezlink ...even student use ezlink for attendance..
