i'm pretty sure i'm a tad late in jumping onto the wolfmother bandwagon, but i'm just wondering if there are any other wolfmother fans on soft? i think this band kicks serious ass. the vocals and riffings remind me a lot of led zeppelin. they're a very tight trio, with very raw distorted sounds. i love this video here:

yeah man they're a bloody impressive trio. hmm i've got to watch this live earth performance you're talking about then.

omg yay more fans! I loved them from the moment I decided to get their cd when it came out, coz they seemed like a crazy bunch. and plus the cd was on sale, so i thought 'what the heck!'

I've not regretted one bit, and they are by far one of my favourite non-metal band. haha. Very 80s, and I disagree with people who think they are just Led Zep or ACDC copycats. They are great, and their music lets me sorta go back to the era of great rock in the 80s while still living in 2007. Cant wait for their next album next year. Oh and go youtube and search 'wolfmother communication breakdown'. They did a cover of the legendary LedZep song. And if you're still free, check the Spiderman 3 album, they did a special song on that album, called Pleased To Meet You.

Pretty good stuff, like their vibe. Amazing how a 3 piece can sound so huge..As for them copying Led Zep, almost every band out there is a copy of their influences...so no big deal.

mmhmm. i got it for $25.95. awesome dvd and comes with a free poster too. i like how the bassist/keyboardist just tilts his keyboard. or jumps off something to hit those keys really hard.
