Why the Strat is the best guitar design of all...

it's all good now...
after accidentally clicking on this thread, i'm officially GASsing for Suhr and Zemaitis...which is even worse GAS!!!!!

Not really for me... Having tried both extensively in my visits to the land of the rising sun, I've discovered that Suhrs feel odd to me, and Zemaitis would make great wall decorations. I'm sure they're nice to some people, but know what I like, and unfortunately, those 2 aren't for me. *phew!*

This is so much more my thing now...

That's the Monk Guitar... Korina body (I think) Redwood top. BRW fretboard... 100% handmade... Even the wooden P90 covers.

Crafted by Jason Schroeder for Fleetwood Mac.

Schroeder is good stuff!

Just wanted to share, youtube search this dude, Thomas Blug. He coaxes quite a wide range of tones from a 3 single coil equipped strat. good stuff!

Actually, with the right wiring and the right pair of hands, the tones one can coax from 3 single coils are truely amazing.

Remember, Brian May was using 3 single coils as well!
