Thats my entire gear history effects wise. For the shortcircuits was using 1 spot + daisy chain. Didn't know had to insulate the unused heads of the daisy chain which caused the short circuits.

Sold xt live cos spent too much time tweaking trying to get tones that i wanted. Way easier with pedals. The mt2 and hothead did not suit me well.

DS1 = sold.
Replaced with SD-1 and SD-2.

No matter how much I tried to like the DS-1 it still sounded like a fart. The SD-1 and 2 are really much better sounding and versatile.

Line 6 Uber Metal - sucked ass
EHX Dr Q - sucked. huge ass volume drop
EHX Little Big Muff - good, but noisy as hell
EHX Micro Metal Muff - good, but noisy as hell. not very applicable after i grew out of metal.
Boss GE-7 - didn't really use it
Boss BD-2 (modded by Goose) - too many drive pedals
Boss CS-1 (MIJ) - stopped using compressors after i switched to my all overdrive setup
ISP Decimator - sucked my tone too much
Dunlop Slash Wah - grew out of my "wah phase"
MXR Blue Box - didn't find much use out of it

...in slightly over a year!

my pedal crazy phase when i had a hugeass pedalboard sucking up all my tone had passed a year ago, and i now use a small laptop case with 2 to 3 of my favourite pedals. a Maxon OD808, OCD, and a crunchbox (when i need it). I still keep some of my older pedals though. Like my DS-2 which is my first pedal.

Sold most of my drive pedals cause well.... i went in to Amps!...youll never get a distortion like an amp and the only one ive heard that comes close is honesty, the Seventheaven by Goose. now i have a couple of OD's that i love, few but... not as many as i used to. no distortions on my board. normally a selected OD straight to amp. witha bunch load of modulations. i do like the stuff boss make though. it does suck tone none the less.. but without the tone suckage, i dont get the tone i hear in my head. i like what the pedals do. and i have to be honest. many of my pedals are not true bypassed. but put through and efx loop. lots of the pedals i have have certain qualities that no true bypassed pedal can ever achieve. so i stick to my guns for my sound.cant have your cake and eat it, so you sacrifice here and there for the music you make.
