Why so many softies selling off their CIJ Fender Strat ST72??

Haha i think its quite an excuse la *ahem ahem*. I have no problems shredding whatsoever on my glossy maple neck strat of my st 57 to my ibanez s470. In actual fact i prefer the strat for shredding. Thicker and it has a better feel, easier to vibrato and play sweep picking without that thin neck (cos i have an exceptionally long thumb) to get in the way of my grip.

Is there a sure way to tell if the body is made of basswood or alder? According to the guitar dater project, my st57 is made in 1993/1994. So can I tell if its basswood or alder?

there might be the case where one softie sells to another. 1 week later, the softie who just bought the guitar a week ago dont like it and posts a thread to sell it. maybe he manages to close the deal within 3 days or something. after that the same cycle continues and blah blah blah.

that MIGHT be the case. although u see so many of the same threads but posted by different people, it might actually be the same guitar.

People have their reasons when they want to sell off something.

All i can say is that my CIJ ST57 rocks, and im keeping it, it aint gonna be sold. The tone will rock you so bad. end of story
