Heehee...... I just thinking on the extreme end of what could be. But when you really encounter such a person (there are), then it will set you thinking and reflecting on your own behaviour. Same as in a race, when you are beaten by another person, you always reflect on yourself and how to be a better person the next time.
The equipment thing is on another tread, but I just want to point out, that we are very lucky to be in SG. Where equipments are already way better of what is normally avail at other countries. Maybe it's the skill and experience level of the provider and user.
