why i dun really like it?
1) yamaha was not long-sighted enuff they discontinued it
rg, s , jem. ibanez du make some sweet superstrats. and ther are some good yamaha ones out there. love the 80's yamaha superstrats. and not forgetin jacksons. superstrats i jus cant live without them!
I like RGs for their slim neck, their design, playability, bridge and most importantly, their generous cutaways. Only gripe is that the top cutaway isn't as pronounced as the bottom one, hence i can't have the 'Hendrix' experience by simply turning it upside down and changing the order of the strings
i've had quite a few superstrats...from ibanez, charvel, shadow, kramer, fender floyd rose...
now i finally settled with my non-strat SG superguitar
took me 10yrs to find one, and its not leaving me.
design wise its based on the SG '61 reissue, so nice slim fast neck with easy access to the 24 frets.
