which starter pack should i get

get those squier or epiphone starter from sweelee. I would recommend epiphone because theres the humbucker and if u want more versatility, you can go split coil both humbuckers(pagebucker) HAHA. although these starter pack guitar pickups not very good...

bro, his just starting leh. n

oh yeah and ts, i suggest you go around swee lee or davis or whatever guitar shop you want and try out the beginner packs. find one which is comfortable to you.

but it will come in gd in the future maybe in a year... haha... regretted nt getting humbuckers now.. haha.. but still everyone got their tastes..

yamaha, is expensive without doubt, but once in a while the quality of the guitar might be very good, i've been using a yamaha erg 121 for awhile, altho i changed string gauge, i just need to do minor adjustments to remove fret buzz...squire is good, but epiphones starter packs les paul have only 2 knobs, u'll get sick of it...and it very very exp...still davis sx les paul is worth it $250 wif amp, accessories, the guitar looks cool with binding

actually u dont really need to have those ready made starter packs. some shops u can like just tell ur budget, they recommend what u can get for what price. if u add abit can get what all that. a package will definite coz less. but well starter packs at davis are more straight forward.

Hah.. eh btw davis have those too.
or maybe you are better off buying what guitar you want to buy and
the amplifiers that you want too(get 10 to 15watts) maybe? or best is to save up alil bit more and get a good guitar. and of course a good amp.
yah.. try to know more into guitars. like looking around the shops everywhere like... bras basah..penin..city music...
BUT hey.. ive started off like you and ive bought a guitar and amp individually
lol. but ive got what i want .

All the best guitarist!:o

It is recommended that you don't get starter packs if you are getting serious about guitar. You can save up about 500 bucks, and spend 250 on a decent entry level beginner's guitar, and spend the other 250 on a decent entry level SS amp. Because those amps in the starter packs, simply suck real bad. Hope you'd think about it, but if you don't have the budget, then go with the starter packs.

Ouhh.. yes you can go for the cort too..thery are good for money and good for you! i think its the x1 or x2. im not so shure.. BUT do check them out;)

thats mean dude =p
The Yamaha starter pack I got when I started out: $500-ish.
You get a small practice amp, and a Yamaha Pacifica EG112C (a Stratocaster with a humbucking pickup at the bottom).

So let's say instead you go with a B.C. Rich Warbeast like my friend got for less than $400 (380?) from Davis. It sounds and looks sexy.
Then you get the same Marshall amp I got from Davis: $100.

You'll end up paying less and getting a better deal.

Now B.C. Rich guitars aren't everyone's cup of tea, but I just used it as a comparison.

Get epiphone les paul special 2. Swee Lee got special promo if you are student, LP S2 + 15w amp for $400. I am getting it soon but if you are not a student.... then get a student to help you buy :P

the most standard answer any experienced guitarist would give is save up and get a decent one around the price range of 600-700 and above?

i remember creating a similar thread few months back and ppl telling me the stuff i mentioned above. i kinda regretted.. now i go any guitar shop.. really wan cry
