Which MP3 player should i get?

Which should i get? I'm gettin one on my payday. :)

Zen Neeon
Ipod mini
Zen Nano Plus

hmm.. ? In terms of functions and durability... which one?
 
Ipod mini all the way! and do get the 6gb one becoz there are 2 versions of the ipod mini... 6gb one the lastest and solves many hardware n software bugs as well as extended battery life!

zen neon is so ergh. zen micro a more worthy competitor. more functions than the mini but loses out in design.

last of all trying the new ipod nano hands on is enuff to convince u which to buy =D
 
oh yeah... i check out the Ipod Nano... hot hot.. damn slim.. 4gbs.. How much will it cost? my budget is around 300 and below.
 
i regret when i bou the 6gb crap.. my music collection so large... over 10gb liao now cannot store all inside... when i want to format come must save 4 to 5 gb of my songs in cds as i dun have a portable hd... :(
 
hmm..my C++ teacher told me to nv buy Apple iPod...becos the programmer that design iPod did not throws the pointer inside..and it will cause the com to clash with iPod after long period time...

so Creative is a much better choice to me...
 
hmm.. might be getting a Ipod Nano or Creative Zen Neeon.. both looks hot.. Ipod nano has about 4gb, while for Zen Neeon.. i stores up to 2500songs.. hmmm...
 
see ur needs and what u have. Do u need a mp3 player with that much capacity? will u download that much mp3 to be able to fill it up? Will u use it as a thumbdrive and if u do, will u use that much too?

boils down to needs.
 
hmm.. not really that much songs.. most probably i only got around 300songs. Hmm.. jus wanna get something that can last. So i wont have to change another one. Heh.. Zen Neeon is hot.

Tht might b the problem with some computers bt nt in whole. Itz just tht Apple products r solely made for the mac. So microsoft n other pcs face a lil deficiency in handling the mp3 player.
 
hmm..maybe so...but how many of us here actually owns a Apple computer...i guess very few did...

but come back to iPod...iPod nano is really attractive...its so slim and small...just tt i got no money to buy one..haha

If your C++ teacher really said this, then this is bizarre at best and asinine at worst.:

a) Programmers seldom design hardware - certainly not in a company like Apple where they have overpaid ergonomics designers who used to work in Fashion magazines.
b) pointers aren't thrown, Exceptions are. Pointers only point.
c) even if a pointer error happens on the embedded hardware device this is unlikely to affect the application domain of the host computer with iTunes
d) this is clearly a misquote. Your teacher may be talking about a memory leak in iTunes - thinngs that "go wrong over long periods of time" can often be attributed to these. :D

Having said all this, the Creative Zen Micro is a clear winner over the iPod mini because:

a) it has a replaceable battery - iPod mini must be taken to service centre when LiIon battery dies (they all do) and costs $160 to replace- half the cost of the player
b) iPod mini is marketed to girls
 
Yeah thtz the fact. Only 3 in 10 ppl use a mac. As gd as Apple products r, so r their prices :lol: N as their Goodwill increase by the years, cheap stuff from Apple is FAT HOPE hahah.
 
ya vern...u r rite...my teacher is talking about memory leaks...u sure know ur stuff mate..haha...i nt tt good in my C++ module..so pardon me...but im sure he mention about pointers...ya...he said pointers arent delete in the software...
and he mention it will clash with some other types of firewall...but if u r using microsoft firwall..den it is safe...
 
hmm...in my experience of listening to songs from creative and apple, i have to say that sound quality of apple loses out a lot, the creative player that i have doesnt have any software glitches, though i hear some people saying that creative software is buggy. People who dont go for looks but for sound generally pick creative any day. So the choice is yours. :)
 
I thot Creative players had the fancy looks? :lol: Apple is just plain, simple, n quality. Therez a chart sumwhere in the net, do google it. Showing the statistics of sound quality of the 2 mp3 industries. Then u'll get an idea of which one's bttr in which way :wink:

definitely, Zen Nano Plus..
no moving mechanism inside, no rechargeable battery
can last u as long as ur age..
line-in, FM and voice recording..
but less storage..

ipod mini..what can this thing do? juz play mp3?
classy look? built-in rechargeable batt?
