Pasted from Kopitiam forum. I am not going to update this thread though. If anyone is interested in doing so, post down on the next post.

Everyone is welcome to contribute to this thread, especially the bassists, keyboardists and the drummers, as I have little or no knowledge about the brands for such instruments.

To find a brand, use the Search function on your browser and type in the brand name. Find Next to see if there are more distributors for that brand.

I'm wondering if future BMT will have moving bars to help recruits with disability to do pull ups  Judging from the number of such questions here, seems like it's a possible proposition.

Does anyone have the number for Guitar Workshop @ Bras Basah?! need the call them up asap!! not sure if they are opened tommrrow!!

so anyone?! :D THANKS!

Hmm I see two camps in Soft.

The "uninitiated" who can't tell pickups from bridges, one chord from another, and differentiate the notes in the pentatonic scale.

The "pros" who can tell the tonal difference between Pearly Gates and Bare Knuckle, play with finger twisting chords, and solo in Lydian C sharp.

The unintiated do not have the experience and knowledge to participate in the sky-high discussions of tone, mods, techniques, Signal Processing. So these people can only contend with asking what they know best to try their best to participate and initiate discussion in the forum.

The pros are interested in all things guitar that's Wowing and new and technically, tonnally, and aesthetically astounding. Numerous traces of them can be seen everywhere in the forum. At times they can invest time into turning a thread into a kopitiam where only they will understand what they're saying. These people are the "big brother" in the forum, they help the smaller ones out, give pro advice, and make a few rules of their own.

Were there anymore camps?

Yeah within the uninitiated camp there are two camps too: the ones who really bother and the ones who "fire and forget".

Within the Pro camp you've got the ones who sympathise with the uninitiated and the ones who like to throw some weight around occasionally.

It's in every forum.
