where to get tama and pearl signature sticks?

hi i am new to this forum, but i found out that in sg, most of the place sell vater or zildjian sticks.. i been looking for tama, pearl signature sticks but to no avail. noe of this site thrgh my fren.. thus trying out my luck here... also i been looking for akira jimbo sticks too.. can anyone kind to give some pointers?

buy the unigrip one la. qutie cheap what. i have the tama japanese oak sticks. good for jazz and stuff. especially on the ride.

i tink he means is the rubber grip called unigrip where u can jus slot it into ur sticks as grip..

Akira Jimbo uses Vic Firth sticks and its available at Swee Lee, and btw, Yoshiki uses Tama sticks, not Pearl.

As for Tama and Pearl Signature sticks, its not available for export as they are only manufactured for domestic artists and thus they might not think tat its viable in a business sense to actually export it overseas tat only appeal to the niche market. Anyway, u can get Yuki's and Yoshiki's sticks here, but lookin at the price, its kinda absurd. I'd rather settle for Ahead wif tat price. And Pearl? Hope its unlike their Forum cymbals :roll: :

While ur at it, do check out Shinya's and Sakura's sticks too, and among them, I still tink Sakura's the bomb. He's got so much technique and style. Jus listen to Laruku's 'Lorelay', 'Still I'm With You' and 'Vivid Colors'. Utter brilliance. But i'll settle for Vic Firth anytime cos there's a reason why tis drum companies don't actually focus wholeheartedly on drumsticks manufacturing. :wink:

Thnks for the info blissuicide, but the Akira Jimbo sticks cant be found at swee lee.. went yest.. they dun hav any stocks..

Regards to Sakura, i onli noe he is larc en ciel ex drummer.. as in y he left the band i am not sure.. but do u hav vids or clips to view his technique? cus i thot yukihiro is better than sakura, since he is replaced by him.. but i mean no offence in this post.. cus i am ignorant too..

Too bad on the Jimbo sticks cos i went couple of weeks ago and they still had it, guess gota wait for stocks than. Sakura was ousted out in no part due to his playing, but cos of drugs. Cleaned up his act later and joined Zigzo. Try youtube for Laruku's and Zigzo's clips. Plenty of live shows..
