Where to get fret wires replaced?

Hey Guys,

need some opinions from people who have gotten repair works from guitar workshop (Bras Basah) done before. In specific, fret replacement.

I think the frets on my ibanez rg might be wearing down and am thinking of sending it to a guitar shop to get it replace with new ones.

Has anyone brought their guitar to guitar workshop for such a job before? How are they?

Any other recommendations for such a job?

for frets replacement, Standard Value does a fine job. if you wish to do this, be informed that shops won't replace 1 or 2 frets, they do the entire neck- it won't be cheap...

yea I'm planning to replace all the frets. Am willing to pay a good price for someone to do a VERY good job as this guitar is my main axe. I use it for most live shows and all my studio work. Can't afford to mess it up.

How long does standard value take?

Bro, if u can't afford to mess it up and it's your main guitar, I highly recommend Malcolm.
Let a real pro/qualified person to do the job. Pm him for details.

Have the guitar checked out first. May not necessarily need refretting. Sometimes a simple level and recrown work wonders.
