Hi guys, my strat has a standard 8mm hole. I wanna enlarge it to 10mm to fit in the tuners i want.
Where can i have it done(or theres anybody here that can help me)?
I tried standard value and hardware shops, they do not help people do this.

Thanks

if u can find a bench drill press (maybe at some nearby school), u could use this drill bit to do it..a counter-bore tool with the pilot hole diameter 8mm and the counterbore diametere 10mm...

hmm if u noe your sch workshop tech, u can ask them to help..cos its really easy, the pilot hole would fit snuggly into the current headstock hole so wad u have to do is just to lower the drill...btw a drill press is the big big table kind dat will cfm drill straight one...so no worries..and i dun tink there are many ppl out there doing it...plus they cfm rip u off from this easy job..

forget about the drill press. you only need an reamer. a hand reamer. poke one side, give it a few good twist. poke the other end, give it a few good twist.

google for reamer. and then go down the regular hardware shops and ask for it.

hey guys i need a set of drill bits? (need those 10mm ) Because i will be sending it for my friend tomorrow to help me drill the holes of my strat to fit those bigger size of tuners as it can only fit vintage tuners now.Its urgent

Thank you guys alot for viewing .

hmm .... is there any place that people will do it. I kinda sucks in DIY

Well you found your friend to do it so I guess you won't be needing suggestions anymore. However, do take the time to learn how it is done while you're at it and have a hand at it as well. Useful skill to have.

When one gets married, one wouldn't expect someone else to DIY the spouse cos one sucks at it right?
