Is there any place or good teachnician can fix tube amp in singapore?

Hi guys
I just ordered a bogner shiva head and a 212 body from Bongner. It was arrived last week.
However, the head seems like not working......there is no sound coming out when I plug the guitar into "input".But it do have sound when I plug at the back"power amp in"

I have check with bogner company and they ask me to check the tube at preamp. They promise that if anything was damaged during the transport they will send me a same component to replace it.

However, I am only a player not a scientist,I have no idea of checking the electrical component. Therefore, I am asking u guys :

"Is there any good place or good teachnician in singapore is capable to check the tube amp?"

Thanks for ur recommend, and pls let me know the excactly place or leave me a hp no. so I can directly find there

regards

Its at peninsula. Not the best shop to go to.. has a very unique 'history' ranging from customers. Go to Beez or TYMC to check it out. Beez is at roxy square. TYMC is also at peninsula..

Hi there~
Thanks for ur recommend, I have met beez to adjust my guitar before, but I dont know he can also fix the tube amp.
I have seen he got some small amps in his shop, but there is one thing I am worry about, dose he have some amp body in the shop too?(eg 212,412) Because if not, we cannot test the "amp's head" there.

Another question is who is TYMC? Can u pm me some of his informations such as hp number of address?
Who is more concentrate on fixing the tube amp?

regards

I suppose Mikeman is a good reliable amp tech. He was recommended to me a couple of years back. If not try Beez, maybe TY and Soundalchemy if they do it.

Your Bogner Shiva is an expensive amp, so better get the right person to do the job. I agree with superpotato, I wouldn't go there if I were you.

You may try to contact Randolf (his username in SOFT is "embryo"). Too bad I lost his HP number or I can give it to you (maybe someone here who knows can?). He re-tubed and did a minor servicing job on my Matchless a few years ago. Alternatively, you can try Mikemann. Here's the link: http://mikemann.com.sg/repairs.htm

Good luck.

Hi
Thanks alot for ur link, I think I am going to try mike , and I will go down there to take a look today.
I really spent alot of money on this amp, so it feels super sad when I find it might damaged during the transport

PS: Does mike's shop located at city hall penisular?

You may contact me if you have not already gotten your amp repair. I am not a repair technician but and engineer who is very familiar with tube amp design and have made my own amps.
