What's the lightest guitar that could be found in S'pore?

i need the lightest one. cause i love rocking onstage and its kinda irritating to be jumping and moving around with a heavy guitars.

so guys help me out.

i play alternative rock and some light stuff metal. not heavy ones.
so any suggestions

khai ur the first whom i know who share the same interest as me...i need lightweight!...i was thinking abt chambering an rg...den slapping on emgs.
also ofcos use a hardtail or fixed bridge...floyds add all the excessive weight

i love jumping and headbanging and twisting and stuffs.
like story of the year(best showmanship and skilled band)

anyway.. and of course i would love my lightweight guitar
to be armed with SD invaders woohoo.
 
eh khai bro...try out the lyon by washburns at Guitar Workshop...not sure if they're suitable 4 ur genre tho...

you want it light. under 700 and sumthing that looks cool onstage.

quite hard man. double your budget and you have alot of options...
 
Light guitars are usually made from Swamp Ash, it's one of the lighest tonewoods around...... Although there are freak cases where there are extra-light versions of normally moderate to heavy woods

I heard Parker guitars are really light though, anyone with a Parker in SOFT?
 
oh yah!!! correct... parkers sound pretty decent man ... and are feather lite...


the are the lightest guitars ive ever tried.

i hate the upper horn which jabs you in the chest though.
 
Can. Get a Kapok and install SD Invaders pickup in it.

eh...have u seen such a guitar before? I think very lightweight leh... :oops: You can make it yourself too...

Step 1:

Find an old shoe box, tissue box, or other cardboard box.

Step 2:

Stretch a few rubber bands around the box and over the hole.

Step 3:

Put a pencil under the rubber bands on one side.

Step 4:
Boxguitar4.GIF

Optional steps. Tape on a paper-towel tube and decorate the box.

Final product should be like this:
