no point in changing to active pickups if u have a crap amp.
and the marshall amps listed above aint that good , look to other amps such as the vox or rolanding modelling amps . the low end marshall doesnt capture what marshalls are famous for.

and get a teacher is a good idea :)

get a metronome.. i spent thousands of dollars.. nothing else can compete with it when it comes to usefulness per dollar.. nothing.

You have all the gears to learn to play the guitar. Learn to play it well first before investing on better gears.

u are one hundred percent right.

listen to what he says. practising with a metronome can reap results that are priceless.

serious.

also, if u want an amp. try looking for brands other than marshall. marshall have fantastic high end tube amplifiers. but when i comes to solid state, they're seriously a let down.

the move which would have the most impact on tone is an amp upgrade. forget the 15w units; you should at least move on to a 30watter...

still, if you plan to upgrade your amp, i don't recommend any of those listed in your poll. there are much better options for the price as mentioned by harrisonyeo. Look at roland cubes and peavey vypyrs, or perhaps save up for an epiphone valve junior.
