To harizmaninchains,
I totally agree that many black metal bands totally look down upon the current generation of post-hardcore bands. In fact, this is even apparent in my daily life. I work at a CD shop and as my manager is a black metal listener, she seems to scoff at the idea of me listening to bands such as Underoath and Blessthefall, claiming that they are "emo" which is an insult to the scene really as "emo" is just bullshit and those in the scene actually mock at these so-called "emos". Also, she says that such music is made by "white trash" which makes me rather sad though as the two above-mentioned bands are my favourites. However, this just goes to emphasize the point that "screamo" has its own segregations in itself.
