What genre do you listen to?

The genre I listen to and love every time is Hard Rock and Metal.Hard Rock and Metal(Thrash,Heavy,Hair,Glam etc)from the 1970s to early 1990s,some examples would be Guns N Roses,Metallica,Skidrow,Iron Maiden,Led Zeppelin...

Other than that,I do listen to Punk and its subgenre and also alittle bit of Alternative and Indie and Pop Rock.I also listen to Jrock like X japan.

Genres I don't listen to are,Hip Hop,Rap,RnB,Techno,Trance...

metal(all metal), hard rock(eg, GNR and ACDC), and a little bit of swedish hardcore and brit indie.
but recently i've been listening to a lot of dance punk and acid jazz( i'm a sucker for the bass lines by artists like Justice and Jamiroquai)

Metal's still good! So is Rock in all it's evolutions and eras!

But IMHO, Chinese music is abit of a turn off in terms of their lyrics. I mean, maybe it's because of the amount of Jay Chou and other whatchamacallit singers/bands, but I've had a deep impression that Chinese Music is totally emotion filled all the time about some lover or lost love.....

But then again, it's music.

Just not for me I guess!

satriani and vai blows me away currently im mad on if i could fly, tender surrender...
picking up this 2 songs. so beautiful so much emotion.

little wing by hendrix too...love how the intro brings u into the song n the solo ....so much emotion and feel.

i realised all great musicians, their music brings u into another time and space, or depict a picture so vivid in ur mind when ur listening with ur eyes closed. i dunno...it worked like dat to me.

and found a new taste in music,,,, man... jeff beck... :D

its not all abt the speed realli.
thou i stil love to shred and stuff :D

im worshipping Black Sabbath's type of music. Stoner rock and some power metal of different language. their sound are just awesome.

i listen to everything from everything.. not mainly a one genred person.. but songs that i would search in my ipod first would be stuffs from slick shoes, craigs brother, nofx, no use for a name, lagwagon, the ataris etc..

Right now, I'm listening to a lot of Against Me!, Weezer and Angels and Airwaves. But I will always have Incubus at my ear, any time of year. It just will never go away.

I do like to listen to hard rock bands like Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Guns N Roses, mainly for their riffs, cos I just love playing rhythms. Not so into shredding, don't know why.

Imo, Chinese songs are insipid and uninspiring.
