this thread will be moved to the GEAR section 8-)

Randall's Nonja combo is highly recommended:

randall+ninja+v2xm.jpg

*it has great cleans + distortion
*it features a great driver (Celestion) unlike the Vox/ Marshall listed above
*it's very affordable 8-)

The vox would be better then the micro stack IMO. More functions and stuff and the micro stack does't sound good. The Randall v2 ninja is definately a good choice too. The biggest thing lacking in VOX is a good speaker. It also depends weather you want effects Randall does't come with any. Overall as just a practice amp Vox would be a better choice imo.. you would have to top up on pedals if you wan effects and good effects are not cheap.

...and the micro stack does't sound good.

that's subjective. the MG15MSII is one of the better tubeless Marshalls out there in this price bracket. unlike it's non-stack combo, the distortion are full sounding due to the featured closed back speakers.

in my opinion as a marshall fan.even MG15MSII is a tubeless marshall amp, it still has a marshall characteristic on it,they never failed even for their low end product.currently i'm using the vox ad15v (8" speaker) which is also an affordable amp with built-in efx on it and im statisied with the amp moreover i used it for my home recording, its sound great especially for the delay and reverb. For randall hmmm.. i just knew that randall amp has a killer distortion channel good for metal hahaha..

it all depends on your taste of music and your ears,

(sorie for my english)
