yeah tell me abt it blueprintstudios

it's always terrible when you lose a loved one in the form of a close relative/friend but the pain you will feel's much worst when it's an unexpected death

I just cannot imagine the pain that his family's suffering right now , the loss of a great son

Wayne definitely will be sorely missed

About 2 months ago my friend B was involved in a car accident. Sitting in the backseat of this n00b driver friend's car, he watched as the speedometer climbed to 100, 120, 140. Of course, B's friend, trying to speed on a meandering 2-lane road, lost control, skidded, 'drifted', spun twice, finally stopping after a hard solid bang into the roadside kerb.

The cost to this idiotic Initial D wannabe was a detached bumper, dead engine and a sear in his wallet. But then again, all that's pretty chicken feed, especially considering that the car with 3 lives in it narrowly missed plunging into a nearby construction pit 30 metres deep.

Having listened to his near-death experience, I told B that he was the luckiest bugger on earth, because this was a high point in his life. It was as obvious a divine message as it can ever get, because it was simply not his time to go. That meant that he has yet to achieve his greatest moment(s) in life, and that tomorrow held purpose and direction. Because God wanted him to emerge from the car unscathed, he's got something to live for tomorrow.

The point in the whole grandfather story above is this - Despite how I personally feel about Wayne's passing, how I want to ask why he has to leave now when there should have been were so many years ahead, I have to trust that God in His infinite wisdom and vision knows what is best.

Wayne lived a beautiful fulfilling life in his short time with us. The great number of people who were at the wake was a statement to how he was a great person who was a friend and inspiration to others, who had an impact on so many other lives.

Wayne's life is an open challenge to every single one of us. Its a challenge to not live the 9-to-5 existence, to not be numbed, to savour the beautiful things that simply cannot be bought with material goods, to pursue our own passions, to love life every single day, to live such that when the time came and mortal man had to die, other stood up and said, "This was an individual who made a difference."

Rest in peace Wayne. Sorry everyone for being wordy.

I have nothing but tears still welled up. The service last night was intense, and filled with sadness for the dearly departed. I did not know him all too well, but in the few times he did talk to me, he was so humble and so down to earth and never carried a strong ego. He was a truly awesome rockstar.

I woke up early in the morning today.
Took a walk to the mama shop,
I sang this happy song.
While I was waiting at the traffic light,
A lovely Indian girl said to me, "What a bootiful day".
I asked them for their names.
The told me their names was Lalita and Lavinia.
I took their hands and danced with them.
Around the coconut tree because it was a bootiful day,
Such a bootiful day.
Because the sun is shining and the people are dancing.
There is no need to be down,
Love is all around!

As The Suns with the great Wayne used to rock out to...

Bye buddy, we miss you!

I don't know you, dude... but go on and show John Bonham and Randy Castillo a thing or two of your own drum tricks!

And say Hi to Dimebag and Rick Allen's arm for me! Rock on!

talking about wayne's drumming,

shit. he is a damn great teacher. I couldn't do his special double stroke trick for nuts some time ago, and he broke it down to several points to analyse to me, how to achieve it.

I could still recall that special action he did which made me able to do it.

IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE SO PATIENT TO A RETARDED DRUMMER LIKE ME?

May he rest in peace. Its just a shame that i didnt get the chance to know him before. Judging from the amt of people affected by his departure, id say he'd be dearly missed. My condolence to his family..

On behalf of wayne's family wayne himself, sanjeev and justin. i would like to thank everyone who knew wayne one way or another, personally or not. who came down for his service, and his cremation. It was a beautiful send off, and NOTHING like ive ever seen, the massive amount of people who came down for him.

His Family, esp his Father was very touched and proud of his son's (wayne "thunder" seah) legacy. It was all made possible because of each and every one of you.

thank you again... live his dream, continue his legacy \m/ and make a difference.

and as wayne would put it : put your money where your mouth is...and start making a difference.

once again thank you all.

wayne is truly a rockstar.

R.I.P. Wayne "Thunder" Seah

we will miss you.. you went a day too fast, a min too soon, we will pick up where you left off..

rock out in heaven wayne, save a spot for the rest of us when its our time to come..

rest in peace.

Wayne "Thunder" Seah was a hero to me, a hero to many of us.

the last thing i said to him was telling him how excited i was to be playing with them again at RFG2007, and i was telling him how starstruck we were at the first RFG when The Suns played after us, because they were like our heroes.

I miss you Wayne Thunder.

Rest In Peace.
