been looking around the forum checking on types of metronome u drummers are using so i have been wondering wat type of metronome should i get.. :D in my mind i was thinking of getting the Tama RythmnWatch but is quite expensive..:D any suggestions from you guys out there?:D

hmm..i not sure. but for me it would be the bpm can go over 250 beats per min. cause moost metronomes can go up to 250 bpm only..

I dun mean to say this but this is friggin hilarious - a metronome set at 250 bpm. You mean you can play 260 bpm/second?

HAHAHAHAHA....

a metronome is good as long as it doesn't go out of time... j/k

drumsolo86 - nope, he can play at 130bpm. I do recordings where drummers are comfortable with 300bpm. (a.k.a 150bpm)

basically a good metronome is one which you're comfortable with so you gotta test it on the spot. you're going to be listening to this for as long as you use it. do get a pair of good sound isolation headphones also.

i would suggest DB-90. You cant go wrong with it. You can even use that metronome as a monitor for yourself when u play as there's a input and a output for earphones. So yeah, DB-90

Hi guys,

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I also wanna ask any other alternatives for a compact metronome thats similar to Boss DB-30 since I don't want to take chances with Swee Lee which I was told no stock when I last called them.
