Washburn Joe Trohman Guitar?

Hey need a little help here...

Saw this guitar at guitar77. Apperently it is the Joe Trolman's (fall out boy) signature guitar.

is it worth the $650+ worth of cash? Or is it better to buy the BC Rich Masterpiece Mockingbird guitar going at $400 at Davis? (I've withdrawn my liking towards V-shapes :s)

lol... i tried both and apparently the bc rich felt better...

but sound wise...i can't judge. Too little time to try.

Also, the washburn idol shape is supposed to allow for more comfortable playing. Is that true?

That's for you to decide.. People find SGs uncomfortable to play sitting down, but I think the contours are perfect..
I can't stand Clapton's V-neck, but that doesn't stop him from playing.. In fact, it's perfect for him..

So ultimately, you have to decide for yourself.. If you want us to help you, we need MORE information..

What music are you going to play?
What tonal specifications do you want?
What build (physical) specifications do you want?
What amp are you going to use it with?
Etc etc etc..

If you ain't got the info we ain't got the guidance! (Something all softies ought to know!)

ok i play metal, but sometimes rock and roll.

I like a fat beefy tone. I just one a guitar i feel good with (like duh, who doesn't want it). My amp is a fender frontman 25r.

It'll be a bonus if it plays clean tones really well.

the idol series guitars are pretty ok.
but this joe watever model...come on...basswood body? on a LP styled guitar?
its definitely not going to come anywhere near the actual idol series in terms of tone.

doesnt sound like ur going to get a fat beefy tone from it.

i expect the bcrich to be slightly brighter sounding.
why not instead u look for a used epiphone LP?

i have a washburn wi45 and i like the VCC. i tink its quite cool.. it has randall PUs though.. heh, so can't tell much about the sound of this model..
personally, i would go for a rich! esp a mockingbird! haha
