I'm selling my beloved J3 to some one who like jazz and blues and want a hollow body jazz guitar.
It has been treated like a baby!!! There is no dings and dents any where except for the pick guard, which was originally like that when I bought it. I would like to say the condition is more than mint condition.
Played acoustically, the J3 has a fairly good range of tones but does tend towards the middle and upper ranges. For subtle acoustic jazz, flatwound or Thomastic-Infeld strings are best. They're also best for electric jazz.
This is a large and heavy guitar, As far as good quality archtop guitars go, the J3 is highly recommended.
