Another bad softie cheats in a deal. =X

firezhawk kept me waiting for about more than 2 weeks now. The first week we're pretty much in contact and had set a day to deal in the next week. So the previous night we were confirmed to meet up at Alljunid the next day at around 3pm. Checked out Swee Lee, had lunch then smsed the seller as I was quite worried why he didn't contact me as it was approaching 3 already.

Stood outside 7-11, cursed. After a dozen attempts of calls which were all redirected to Canadian Pizza's hotline(like wtf?). Finally received an sms from him saying that he couldn't make it today. Double wtf. All the way from Woodlands just to make the trip in vain.

Got home, somehow quite pissed. Smsed me that "he could deal the next day". I genuinely could not make it the next day and I told him in advance. Halfheartedly, i replied that I wouldn't mind(oh, like thats real) to make another trip to Alljunid the day after. All this was told on the day I returned emptyhanded.

The next day I smsed him, asking him if it was confirmed(to avoid another wasted trip). He didn't reply so I just took it as he was busy. Next day came, I knew he was screwing me. Tried to sms him a dozen times without reply for the next few days. Calls weren't any good either.

The pedal was meant to be a gift and I do feel that I have let down the recipient.
Now then, the last number is censored for the sake of the lowdown buyer's privacy :

Never la... but more than two weeks of anticipation wasted, friend let down.

there are a lot of rockers(I DIDNT SAY ALL) who are to put bluntly, good for nothing people..um..maybe they do contribute to global warming...they're probably getting into the "rocker lifestyle" to feel good about their useless existences...I lent my guitar, amp n distortion to a guy who was really desperate to use them for an upcoming gig in march, till now I haven't seen my stuff, all sorts of stupid excuses given.

Not the first time something shitty like this has happened, so i'm absolutely not surprised at this. Hope u will feel better soon, I would be insanely angry if I were you.

Next time just ask him to come down to your place, or somewhere near your place. It's all about seller's convenience. When I sell stuff, I expect people to come to me. When I buy, it's common courtesy for me to ask the seller where and when it's convenient for him to deal. Also, I confirm again with them 2 hours before the agreed meeting time.

Don't let this thing make you be afraid to deal with softies. There are many good people here.
