warning: fake fender bass being advertise locally via person

like to warn you guys/gals not to buy fender bass currently being advertise by person advertise on local internet in singapore. they deal cash at mrt. the giveaway is:
a) gift from somebody but no receipts, and dont know how to play. cannot produce receipt
b) price is less than half of new one
c) no model, no serial number
d) dont want to send more detail pics
e) real fender is real and only one make by fender. no such thing as oem.

do check on internet how to identify real fender, gibson. how to handle this if u dont really know. very easy deal at local fender shop let the sales person tell u it is real. they usually dont mind if guitar is bought from them. very easy solution, and get them change string and make some money in return for verification.

I guess if he doesn't have concrete proof, which he technically doesn't, doing such a thing could possibly be libel (I'm not familiar with the laws, but I wouldn't recommend it nonetheless)

lol if the seller able to provide proof in pics as what OP mentioned i dont think we will be so judgemental about the seller, too many ass holes who think they are too smart selling fake guitars
