Woah... this is a tough choice man... For me, its a tie-up between Standard Value and City Music... Both offer great products and good service...

But i'll have to give my vote to Standard Value cos of the TLC Mike showers on my guitars during set-up!...

But City Music's great too! Honest people with up-front, honest prices...

the old ah ma is okay. the woman are quite okay. the malay guy or indonesia guy also quite okay. there's this guy who i suppose is the boss. He is the one who is not honest.

But sweelee is okay. I think they are quite honest... except for their pricing..

I voted for Swee Lee.
I've been a customer since the early 80's.
When I need a Boss pedal they're the first store I'll go to.
Their prices are way cheaper than many of the other shops.
The price tags do scare away lots of people though. hahahaha

Not the right thing to do

I think voting for the best guitar shop in Singapore is not a right thing to do.
What is best?
- Service
- Pricing
- after sales service
- choice of instruments and accessories

For service, it all depends. I have see customers asking for too much and expect the staff to treat them like king.
For pricing, I think City Music and Ranking are cheap if you compare to on-line prices.
After sales service, Swee Lee is the worst. Their most common reply when you ask for spare parts is " no stock" and worst thing is that they cannot even tell you when the parts can be available. I think the one who manage the inventory needs a sack.
Choice of instruments and accessories - I take Ranking and Swee Lee.
