here's the bottom line. there should be no more discussion on whether carlos is a good brand.
Carlos is neither wonderful, nor is it really what you'll expect if you're thinking of a tama starclassic.
BUT! its something you can expect from a $500 kit.
It was meant to be an entry level kit, and its an entry level kit. So, whats the big fuss about it being good or not? its an entry level $500 kit, what can you expecting out of it?
I would say that carlos drums is worth your $500. I find it ridiculous for people to describe carlos as "crap" or "shitty" (mind my language). seriously guys, have you guys really
played a carlos?
Seriously sit down and tune a carlos, and actually get a proper tone and resonance out of it before you guys pass judgement?
I for one can say that it is worth your money as i'm a user of it.
unless you're an owner of a carlos, i don't really think you can say that
it's crap buy something else.
i'm not saying that an opinion is wrong, but don't put carlos down until you've really
played a carlos.
