VIEW ABT CARLOS drum set

Chill man bros! Let's not get upset over Carlos. Ming24, I think it would be good if you're able to let us know your budget, the type of hardware(single brace/double brace etc) and whether you're intending to buy it first hand or second hand.

Blurred has his point. If your budget allows, perhaps DW will be a better choice than Carlos. However, if budget is an issue for you, there's always other alternatives. One of them is definitely Carlos, no doubts. By letting us know your budget, we will be able to suggest more brands/series of drumsets that are available within your budget. Should you decide to get a Carlos kit eventually, you may wish to consult Myner regarding tuning of the kit. (Myner don't mind hor?)

u know funny how each person perceives a written piece differently. the longer the piece is the more open it is for mis interpretation.
its sucks, i stated why as well. hey if i can't say something s bad just cause someone else on the forum has it, i might as well become mute.
okie fair enough u cld be sensitive and i cld have phrased it differently. on tht point i understand. so is this really abt carlos drums or ur desicision making tht ur defending?
look if it makes u happy myner i take it back. peace is gd. when i come back if there's an exchange come up and say hi and i'd buy u a coffee

Hahahaha  This happens all the time when someone asked a question ;ile this Thread "Is Carlos Good"..

If I say Good - people say "Hey you know drums or not, got testing testing it before or not, got change skin or not"...something like that

If I say no good - Current Owners of Carlos will curse me lah "Wah say my drum no good har - wanna die faster izzit"....very common.

Of course, when making comparison like these - the yardstick is VALUE FOR MONEY here.....for a S$500.00 Kit I would say - What to complain somemore right? cause I cannot compare it with Yamaha Stage Custom, Pearl Export etc......

I guess first - the Budget - then work within a Budget...eg ... for S$500.00 - you can consider a New Carlos or a Resale Tama etc...this should give Ming an idea....cause our young Bro Ming here is very young with little experience on Drum Gears too...

Ming - remember hor - call Uncle Drum_Hobbyists - he will bring you go shopping for Drums - then you go see his 100 over Cymbals...crash everyone n see which one sound better - after that - He will make you polish all 100 cymbals...Kekekekeke   nah - I'm joking here.

hey blurred no hard feelings, i just stand that a carlos shouldn't be labelled bad, just because its an entry level kit.
