Then Kim Il Sung will take over his position. Hope hes a democratic person and would love to hang out with Obama. If not, the whole history will repeat itself..lol

O.T.

Just watched watchmen the other day and it seems the only way to have world peace, is if the whole world suffers a trajic attack and faces a common treat.

I kinda beleive this though, but if the price for peace is for millions to die. Then no thanks.

B.T.T

I really do hope the tensions between US and NK don't escalate because yes, I do beleive this will be one of the catalsyt for WWIII. I do hope, that since the world is smaller now and we are all connected and well informed, that all of us will not be drawn to this and in our own way, do not allow WWIII to happen.

If North Korea is full of oil....i think US may have invade them already :)

Its a new president now mate if you noticed.different leader.

but anyway since NK is testing out nuclear and all, which is banned in all nations.
im sure something big is coming.its just a matter of time who starts the war.

babyjosef: What's the show "Watchmen" about?

It's a Movie. Was shown sometime back. Also out in dvd for sometime too. It's based on a Comic book with the same name. Set in an alternate 1985 where nixon is the president, and there is a LAW that banned all mask vigilantes. When one of the former Watchmen "The comedian" was murdered, rorschach, another former member who is the sole violator of the anti vigilante LAW started to investigate the comedians murder and also warns the rest of the watchmen who's secret identities are known to him.

It was a critically acclaim limited edition comic book series. Though the film was a terrible disappointment according to fans. I tend to aggree too even if i'm not familiar with the comic book. Though the ending was something that can make you think.

Josef: Thanks for telling me more about the show! Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like my kinda show though. :)

Vaiyen: I don't know if this helps?

"In 1963, all nuclear and many non-nuclear states signed the Limited Test Ban Treaty, pledging to refrain from testing nuclear weapons in the atmosphere, underwater, or in outer space. The treaty permitted underground nuclear testing. France continued atmospheric testing until 1974while China continued up until 1980. The last underground test by the United States was in 1992, the Soviet Union in 1990, the United Kingdom in 1991, and both France and China continued testing until 1996. After adopting the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty in 1996, all of these states have pledged to discontinue all nuclear testing. Non-signatories India and Pakistan last tested nuclear weapons in 1998."

~ taken off wikipedia

It's still not banned in all nations. There are non-signatories.

And Lovehurts, didn't Kim Il Sung die in like 1994? o_O

yeah sorry if i mislead some of ya.i meant testing of nuclears is sort of banned.

i think at the moment the US top priority when it comes to North Korea should be securing the release of the 2 captured american journalists, not nukes , not aggression

US wont go to war, her foreign debts are high enough, the economy couldnt AFFORD another war for a long time to come.

Not to mention the existence of Russia and China (both permanent UN security members) along North Korea borders will make war a diplomatic nightmare for both North Korea and US
