i do that too but in the end, i dunno wad notes i hummed.
i had that problem once. but i just compared it to that of a keyboard, then i got the midi down.. so it's sorta like an argar argar thing. then i start writing. heh

i did however, managed to find the bass notes of this one song by Fingertight without looking at the tabs. that was the first and last time i could do that. hehe

im a bassist.. wait.. actually a guitarist... wait... am a vocalist... ouh listen, i think im really confusing myself right now...
im addicted to queens of stone age music now, esp 3's and 7's, keep playing it on my handphone mp3 rite now. Nowadays im a police officer, but during my offdays, i try to listen to new stuff by downloading mp3s on the net.
Currently finished writing a new song called "Sex in the Green". Currently inactive in the music scene as my former band (so called wat is left) are busy with work and NS commitments. Anyone wants to recruit me in their band??

Hey all.
Great to meet you guys in Singapore. I just moved here with my family a bout 5 months back cos my dad is stationed here. Not too sure how long I'll be here for. I play the guitar back in the US and I have a band there. Looking forward to jamming with them again soon.
As for now, all I do is play guitar in my bed room, lol. Here's a bad vid of me playing Nightrain by Gn'R. It was taken back in the US when I just learnt how to play the song. Just thought that I'd share it with you guys.

I'm going 20 this year..
Able to play classical, acoustic, electric and bass guitar.
Currently removed all my gears awaiting for NS but never one losing touch with music.
Singing and rocking with my Epi les paul tt was sold to my fren but he loans it to me for jamming.
To me, music is a form of relaxation and an art.
Currently saving up for my first gibson =)

hmmm....
currently serving as a metal rhythm player in 2 bands. one which i have have the chance to meet them due to the fact that im doing duty on labour day. have been jamming with the other band on metallica covers mostly, will be going into originals soon.
spending time metal-riffing and writing songs. writing lyrics of the consequences of taking drugs, alcohol and making wrong decisions instead of your typical "WE HATE THE WORLD!" kinda lyrics. acoustic wise, i have been brushing up my finger picking technique.
alot of people, especially my platoon mates have been calling me a violent satanic worship devotee of lucifer cuz i listen to metal and i can't get chicks. well, they can go f**k themselves with their dumb clubber songs and chinese artistes up their big fat asses.
been eyeing an ESP explorer but set a goal to get a gibson les paul custom (its freaking havey but the tone is sweet). and if i can't find one.....i'll get the explorer instead. i got a BOSS OD-20 drive zone unit from my dad on my birthday instead of a les paul. thanks dad, you're the best! you forgot the adapter tho..
waiting for mesergod to confirm with me wether he needs me to play for his band on the 24th of may at some metal gig (anybody know anything about it?). no reply since almost a month ago. i think he found someone else already....
