Hi guys, just got a MIA standard strat recently and I'm thinking of the changing the nut material to something more slippery because I tend to use the trem a fair bit.
Which one would you recommend, a Graphtech Tusq nut? or a graphite nut?
You'd be fine with both I think. What's really important is how the nut is slot for the strings actually. Graphite is probably more slippy but if it's not cut properly it will still cause tuning issues.
Probably tusq. I'm a fan of bone, so I guess Tusq is closer. I don't have a guitar with Tusq or a graphite nut so don't take my comments seriously. Haha
