ive been reading up on tubescreamers and they are known for something where the mid-range frequencies are boosted.
is it considered good, or not?
considering in the fact that if one plays live with a full band?
i read somewhere that the mid-range bump helps you not get "lost" in the mix, but are they important? how about in solos? how does the mid-range boost have its place in the band mix? thanks!

tubescreamers to me are like...butter on bread....not necessary but it does make bread taste nicer aye.

Live i kinda like'em.
