Trojan hi hats at ranking sports

pls check if the ones ur buying from churnz are the ones u tested at the shop.

i went to ranking and tested the trojans a few months ago. then it sounded quite nice so i decided to give it a shot.

went home, found someone on luther selling 2nd hand trojans can u believe it. so i went ahead and purchased them for $70. it looked somewhat like the istanbul agop series hats, with the unpolishes rings design. and it sounded dark.

with sticks, sounds nice. but since i usually play with whip at home, the dark characteristics couldnt sound nice with the whip man.

what im saying is must make sure ur buying what u tested.
mine doesnt have the hand hammered print on it.

i am allowying hongliang to test the cymbal before buying.which i find is a must if possible.and yea,i find that the trojan hats sound quite like the istanbul agop alchemy sweet hats.

cheaper or not depends on what sound you're looking for. they each have their on sound and do not sound 100% alike.

the crashes sound very oriental,not many people can appreciate.On the other hand,the ride sounds great,lots of stick definition and has a mellow tone to it,while its bell it rather cutting.(im refering to the sultan-alike series trojan 22"ride"

Yup... Ranking has space constraint... so if there is a demand, it will get from the warehouse...

Haha... saw them in a plastic bag while I was there on Wed... Jen Gek offer to let me try the 21" Ride. Sounds great. I think Bosphorus Turk series can produce somewhere near the same tone. I will made an order and we will make a comparison when I receive it... I believe the weight is medium heavy, right?

Seriously, I really don't know how good The New Sig Dry Dark Ride will sound - I mean they must be good but how good are they as compared to the Turks?......I order because I don't have a DRY & Dark Ride from Paiste Signature Range......I hope it's good.... This stupid Ride is twice the Price of my Bosphorus Master Turks......I HOPE IT'S BETTER THAN THE TURKS.....BUt eh.hhh all my Bosphorus Master Series are really good sounding for Jazz...I just love them....Well....

2morow...I will have to bring $$$$$$ there to collect it liao...my heart pain pain now, cause it's expensive.......luckily my wife don't know the price I paid for the Paiste Sig or else she will kill me for sure.

If it's for jazz and you aren't only looking for Zildjians, I have a pair of 13" Istanbul Agops Signature hats I might be letting go in a month or two.

Otherwise, K custom dark or regular K hats are also real nice and versatile.
