Top wrapping the tailpiece

there are many other better-than-gibson guitars out there, it's a matter of what one embraces... not anti-Gibson of course, i own these...

Tell that to the legions of Agile owners on TGP who insist that the Agile well modded is as good if not better than a Gibson at 1/10th the price!
That's because the legions of Gibson aficionados got too serious and defensive over that comment made by an Agile owner...and things escalated into some stupid heated exchange. Agile owners called Gibson owners gear snobs, while Gibson owners told Agile owners they lacked real perspective. Anyway, I wouldn't take those people at TGP too seriously. Those crazy ang-mohs sniff corks for a living.

I actually support that point....except *insert Edwards instead of Agile*

Not Gibson bashing btw. Its just like a gibson is a gibson, fender is fender, suhr is a suhr....

been doing it to my LP...

no snapping so far (partly bec i'm using .0095s in there...). when one opts for this stringing practice, be informed that it causes a wedge effect at the ball end of the strings hence promoting more stress. some attachment/ winding at the ball end are not as fortified across brand names...

Hi Sub,
how r u doin?

how's the tension of .0095s in a lespaul? i assume you are on standard tuning yah? how does it compare to say 9s on a strat, standard tuning? Thanks!
