I'm sitting here wetting my little white panties at the thought of this album is only ~20 days away.

I've been waiting so long for it to come out. Theres also a new single out but im not going to expose myself to it. Just gonna by the album and lock myself in my room and listen to it over and over. Being tool and what they are known for, i hope the censorship board doesn't take forever to allow it into Singapore.

Damnit i just can't wait. Who else can't wait.

i cant wait either. love the new single, vicarious. adam jones mentioned a meshuggah influence in some interview and it does show slightly.
i highly doubt there'll be a problem with the album getting past the censors...this isn't the 80's or early 90's anymore, no one really gives a shit.

i'm really hoping the mastering on the album isn't the overcompressed squashed mess that the vicarious mp3 is though..please may that just be a shitty radio promo master...

HMV melbourne released it at midnight yesterday...i havent gotten my hands on a copy just yet but from what i've heard of the album i'm not in too much of a hurry...

i would do a review on RHCP stadium arcadium but i dont know their earlier stuff very well. i find it easier to write reviews for bands that you've heard before but yeah i'll try and write one.

the album has awesome packaging..i wont spoil it for anyone but lets just say its more than worth the price of the CD.

Vicarious is an awesome song as previously stated..the intro brings shades of lateralus/schism to mind (as does the entire album). middle section has a killer meshuggah-like part to it, and the ending simply rules, amazing drumming from danny carey. many of the riffs on the album have a much more technical edge to them than before as well.

this isnt an album you can get on the first few listens, you really have to sit down with it and take it all in. some songs are pretty boring though, and my major complaint is the retarded lyrics on quite a few of the songs..

im not good at writing reviews so i'll shut up.

Got it yesterday - well worth it just for the packaging. Just listened to it once. It's a bit heavier than Lateralus and just as complex if not more.
