Tonecore Modules.

Its not analog aye? ;)

One reason I avoid tonecore, is that there's always a next better version. So you got v1.1 now, when they hop out with v1.2 that has more "analog-ish responses, warmer od, and overall balliser tone!" then what are you going to do with your old tonecore? :P

Interesting but its a question whether city music will bring it in.

Hi Guys

Rest assured we are definitely bringing the Tone Core Modules and Docks.

Great concept, and it works. Current Tone Core owners can experiment taking out the modules from the docks. Loosen the 2 screw nuts at the back, depress the black button, and the module comes out!!! Try it!!!

Here's a preview on the tentative pricing (before discount):

Uber Metal Module - S$60
Echo Park Module - S$135

Hey all! anyway i'm selling my UBER METAL for $130 firm. It's less than a week. Sadly i gotta sell it because of urgent need of cash. Free charger and warrenty! reach me at 97541607

Hi CityMusic,

If the existing pedals are already separable into its dock and module, just wondering how you guys gonna price the items?

e.g. a whole UberMetal cost $150, and the module cost $50, the dock cost $70. Obviously one is gonna buy the module and dock separately right? Because they total up to only $120, whereas the whole thing cost $150. Just anticipating.

Hi There,

The Tonecore Docks are the most expensive component here. The indicative price of the Tonecore Mono Dock is S$140 (before discount).

For example, the price of Uber Metal Module + Mono Dock is exactly the same price as if you are going to purchase a whole unit of Uber Metal. Line 6 gives the user the option of cost saving and also exploring new effect modules in a clever design.

We expect to have the Docks and Modules shipping into Singapore early May. Do check with us again then.

Cheers!!!

Hi City_Music,

Thanks for the prompt reply. Really looking forward for the modules to arrive, now that I know my existing Tonecore pedals' docking unit is ready to receive those modules. It's a good investment on this product line. :D

But you'd have to admit that the ubermetal sounds ballsy. When I compare the mt-2 and the ubermetal, the ubermetal wins handsdown for me.
Any thoughts?

No comments on the sound. I dislike the MT2, never really tried the Uber Metal.

Just a repeat of what's on the other thread - the main advantage of the tonedock lies in being able to dock onto stereo docks, which expands on the things you can get with particular effects.
