I see you're petty new here in Soft (based on your number of Posting here).
Would appreciate that you read our Rules & Regulation here. Anyway, it is truly the perogative of the Admin here when certain Thread/Posting are deleted whatever, and is certainly done with a cause/reasons.
In the future, we would appreciate that you PM Soft himself or any Moderators here, on these issues pertaining to the moderation issues of this forum.
NOTE: - Discussion on The Moderating Issues Of This Forum openly here (especially starting out a Thread on this) is NOT ALLOWED (as per our Rules & Regulations)

I'm sorry, but you shouldn't let your personal opinions cloud your judgement as a forum administrator. Imagine how I felt when I logged in to find out my thread had been deleted without any explanation? That is just very unprofessional. That action of yours was just juvenile. I just thought he sang beautifully and I wanted to share it and ask for opinions of other people. It was not like he posted it or something. If you didn't allow music to be showcased just because you have a grudge, would you really be helping the music scene the best you can?

with all due respect i don't think it is fair to comment if you do not know the entire story. trust me, nobody wants a repeat of what happened.
i don't take any sides and in my opinion the whole issue was a bunch of guys behaving like barbarians. but my opinion doesn't matter.
rest assured for whatever did or did not happen and whoever was or was not at fault, the fact is, levan was guilty of crossing the line at some point. sometimes what you stand for will go to waste by the way that you do things. i guess he didn't do things the right way. i don't think anybody involved did enough to prevent the thing from spiralling out of control. it happened, it's over.
but we do not need to dwell on these kinds of things. people have their differences, people do certain things, we all move on. soft is not the lynchpin of local music, there are other mediums as well, so to each his own.

Fartman – can you understand simple English here.
Who is Unprofessional and who is Juvenile/Naive here instead now ? questioning the Admin here in Soft why a certain action was taken without any explaination ? eg deleting your Thread here (as deem fit by us for whatever reasons we had) ? right here, at Soft.
If we had to explain to every single one here every single action we had taken or so - - there is no way we are able to managed this forum. Also I repeat and bear this in mind - - The Perogative is Ours……..so we own the “Rights” It’s really that simple.
I had advice you to : - Read “ Our Rules & Regulations” here so it is assume that you’ve done so ! and to us (if you have read it) - - The Discussion of Moderation Work Publicly At This Forum is NOT ALLOWED AT ALL …….as we take this very seriously…..especially Opening Up An Entirely New Thread Specifically Questioning Moderation Work here.
Funny thing is it seems to me - you are exactly repeating the same thing in certain way as what Levan had done here before - - out-rightly Challenging the Admin and Questioning Their Authority & Right here .
Soft can be your little playground, and we welcome and want you to be happy and enjoy the stay, but please, don’t go overboard I say.
I certainly hope you’re not just another one of those Fly-By-Night MidNight-Warrior who comes in here just to say hello to us and - - GoodBye !
Move on and stop discussing & questioning anymore on how this forum is being Moderated….we don’t need you to teach us that, cause we are really good at that. Trust me.

but yeah, TS should read the rules and regulations.
and at the same time, admins shouldn't really scold a guy for asking. it'll make a bad impression on you. and could ruin soft's reputation.
so if anything gets on your nerves, ignorance is bliss :mrgreen:

Most of us understand and will eventually accept tough rules, but not everyone can accept harsh lecturing. Moderating and policing soft can be a tough job, but such discomposure (& a little impatience) when explaining some rules to a new guy, may make you lose credibility as a mod. Besides, overemphasis of " I am the authority" or "This is my Soft, I own it, you jolly well obey, do you understand?", just makes you sound condescending. In the end, your kind intention of reminding a forumer on the verge of flouting a forum regulation, may have been interpreted by others as cyber bullying.
Tough job, no pay somemore, but could be a little more tactful, and frame your reminders using a nicer tone. Politeness goes a long way.
