To all Logic users on PCs

Anybody using Logic on the PC now switching over to Macs? (especially since the Logic 6.0 is totally for the Mac only). I´m hesitant to migrate to another program since I´m used to Logic but I´m not willing to pay so much for a Mac either. Comments, anyone?

If you´re happy with the sequencing side of Logic, then I suggest that you continue with the program even if E-mgaic isn´t going to update it.

The reason is that the sequencing part of Logic is most likely "mature" and not much feature will be added. This is probably similar to Cubase/SX, where the new updates focuses mainly on the audio side, the MIDI side being relatively unchanged since the 90´s.

Changing platform/program takes too much time and effort.

Thanks! I think you´re right. Logic 6.0 on the Mac does look impressive and tempting though. I do some audio but I can live with what I have at the moment. Will go with your advice.

well wat more do u need for wat logic has got to offer in regards to midi...?
n isn't every midi sequencing will get down to mix down..
especially when u sequence an outboard gear... u juz have to record back to an audio tracks...
how perfect can dat be.. a good versatile midi sequencing with lotsa advantage to audio as well...
n yeah the upgrade on mac osx would add a rewire protocol as well...
so we juz dun have to stick to these stinky flat drum sounds from reason..
n the frustration of cun do any audio recordings juz ends there...
