Yeah man the show must go on but did you know that we got screwed up real bad .. This will be the last gig that we would play for FREEMANSLAND ever. They have no respect for bands who they owe hell of a lot to and no profesionlism. Rowdy Organisers who are disorganised i must say.This is going out to that rebonded hair MC who had no bloody respect in the way that he talked to the people that helped him (bands).
FREEMANSLAND= Doesnt pay bands, Ask the bands to put a deposit , Tell bands to sell tickets and pay for unsold tickets . Shouts at the bands like they are kids telling them to grow up and use their brains . Blames the band without annalysing the situation trying to get the band to pay for equipment damaged . challanges the band to a fight . Is this what you call a good organiser after the band brought in the crowd for them ?
Never the less we had a greaat show because of the crowd..KUDOS KUDOS KUDOS TO THE CROWD.. We will post the Videos up ASAP. You guys Rock !

yess.. organisers should learn to treat the bands and the people that came to watch their shows with respect. they have to be reminded that without the bands and the people who came to their shows they are nothing.
* not all organisers ah.. ive worked with some really power ones before.
But for the records, we meant no harm to anyone nor property. We were just having fun and rocking out.

This is going to sham, firstly, i dun think its right to say the emcee is a member of Freemansland.Most importantly, it was our fault that we did not tell you guys that profanties and vulgarities were not allowed.Most importantly, I was not aware of any deposit, ticket selling to any bands! We acknowledge that you guys are a bigger band thus we wave off all absorption.For kristian, i guessed he actually made a pact with the bands.All the bands were good, performance were great until you guys gave the fatal blow.I would agree that it was disorganized due to the lagg of time resulting in all the disputes.Other big bands like cigarette sex as well as axe calibur are not getting paid. We had to hire sales people to sell on orchard road, we had to publicise agressive through btl marketing. I guess you didnt know that sum up to all the cost. Ticket printing + posters + fliers. Kristian was giving out posters and fliers every single day. We went to St Patrick's School to sell tickets as well. I mean its your own perception.

To start off with its Shyam and not Sham. Now secondly. Whoever the MC is . He was part of the event and thus he was hired by FREEMANSLAND. Maybe you would want to check with the rest of the bands if they had to sell tickets and pay for the unsold ones as well as put in a deposit of 50 bucks? coz i am very sure you know about this and the bands have the msgs send by you guys still.
Regardless about the popularity of the band selling tickets is the job of the organisers. Its great to know how you went all out to promote the gig . But on the other hand if you didnt where will the income come from rite.
We arent making noise about not being paid. We are talking about the lack of respect given. Who the hell hurls vulgarites and calls a band names and tells the band to grow up when he obviously hasnt.... we are doing you a favour remember that . tell that MC of yours that and whoever else was involved in it.. you got my number you could call me to clarify anything else... dont take advantage of bands and dont take them for granted regardless of their popularity. Period.

I agree. That long haired dude was very very rude to me. come on man, people are bound to make mistakes. So what if i am 17. i am suppose to hand him 120 bucks of the ticket sales. i handed him 108 bucks as i had the other 12 in my pocket. Accident la. The guy made a shit whole fuzz about it. He was like "what the hell is this man? what are you trying to do? you are !@#$in irresponsible." i am like WHAT?!? i cant argue with a bone head like that. well he did say more which really intimidated me.

haha... what made me go was the crowd that supported TKS and to all the great supporters who supported Deus Ex Machina during our set. Really loved the crowd, really loved the moshing that was going on.
