timbre guitar

Nope, Khalid did'nt buy it (he oredi own a strat/ibanez). He was just doodling around with the guitars at Standardvalue. The video clip was impromptu. Mike of Standardvalue is a super friendly guy and we just hang out there. Top notch customer service...now I'm getting my strings and picks from there.
Khalid's students bought a couple of Timbre guitars though...one white strat and another one which looks like a Jem copy wif monkey grip.
Very suitable guitars for beginners on a tight budget

Yo pnokio

I was wif him when we were a/b ing guitars at Davis some time ago...I dunno maybe dat ST72 Fender Japan strat ( black wif maple neck) was one of those not so good ones. He tried very hard but still could'nt get that twang from ST72. As for Timbre, so far I've tried two at Mike's shop...the rosewood and maple strat sounded good. Even the tele sounded good too...as in quite close to a tele/strat twang.

But the best is to follow your ears...be it high end or low end guitars.

Does any one know what's the price for the timbre tele and strat? Is it really recommended for both beginners and pros? :D

Oooh. Prices are increasing! :P That means it's gonna play better!
I'm tempted to get a timbre strat.. Hey, doesn't the new strat look the same??

@Reth, the specs is diff. all the better, if u went to try it yourself. since theres temptation hehe :)

tried the sr-200 just now, 1 piece alder body, bone nut, nice slimmer neck, good workmanship. easy to adapt and play. Timbre is MIC.

eh guys, i saw the sr-108 got 2 models.

white body finish, maple fretboard w/ s-s-s config.

black body finish, rosewood fretboard w/ s-s-h config. (cheaper model)
