Unsettling?

No worries, bro.

I do not think this is a major case. I believe it is a prank played all around the internet. Frankly, i have never seen this. But beware though, i have came across a pop-up that revealed particulars of the subscriber. Take necessary precautions to protect your PC or laptop.

By the way, you must have searched "Free Online Radio", it should not be a problem. And since it stated that Yahoo will prosecute you, it is probably coming from a 3rd party, not Yahoo itself.

Sleep it off, grab some beers and get ready to rock!

Let's see if some of our bros have experience this situation.

well what I typed was actually "jazz fusion radio".

Looks so official the notice..

kind of unnerved me man...

and i click the first result..

Relax

Hi bro,

There are websites that may have been hacked by hackers and professionals. Just bear in mind that there are no grounds that such websites or maybe even Yahoo can prosecute you. There are tons of online radio stations that cater to metalheads, raggae, soul, jazz etc.

So, i think this will pass soon enough. Relax.

Alternatively, you can google on it. There will always be information about these issues. Rock on.

if they wanted to prosecute you, they would at least put on what charges they would do so. and it doesn't look the slightest bit official so i don't know why it would be "unnerving". anyway im at the website now, and there isn't any such notice.

That website has probably done something illegal, so visiting it might make you viable to prosecution. But don't worry, you did nothing but visit a website. Even if they catch you or fine, you have the right to say that you just visited the website and had done nothing too.

Other people have experienced it too. Click here, this video shows some of the victims of these "scams".
