Things you love and hate when in ktv with friends (the vch not counted)

LOVE= they love the way i sing. attract more gals oops~~::twisted:

hate = i sing for 4 hours, someplp bf jesouls , a song you wnat to try in solo plp sing with you.. plp siad go ktv with you stress~~:???:

im not a ktv regular but yeah... i went a few times before...

LOVE:
1. the music is tighter than your band playing live lol! which makes it more fun to sing i think.
2. it is fun to sing with your friends around.
3. you don't feel that stress like when you are performing on stage.

HATE:
1. people holding on to your mic and singing the songs you chosen.
2. people skipping your songs when you sing it only halfway.
3. people choosing like 13 songs at one go and you know the next minute, they are the only one singing for the first 13 songs and you are chewing up all the tibits in one corner.

Hates.... Mine's pretty simple

- the usual foul-smelling mics or worse; ones coated with viruses to give me sore throats (my pet peeve lar)

- I don't know many pop songs LOL

Pasir ris area think only the newly open E Hub have K Box. While Bedok area have one cheap ktv at the Kampong Chai chee Community Centre.

1. ppl who scream into the mic instead of trying to auto balance their voice with the level of the music

I love mics that don't smell bad... drinks that are free flow... and songs that are dope! and most importantly.. a great crowd!! =]

My hates are... TRYING TO UNDERSTAND AND FIGURE OUT CHINESE LYRICS WHEN FORCED TO TRY CHINESE SONGS! AHHHA.. my chinese is whackk! ahhaa.. =P

Love: When I got to sing my favourite songs

Hate: When some friends sang numerous Mandarin songs for more than an hours leaving some of us who didn't understand the language feeling bored and shunned..

Most my friend who go ktv have very different taste...

They will choose songs like Jackie Cheung, Teresa Teng etc etc...or maybe english songs like Micheal Learns to Rock, Elton John...


I am more into Led Zep, Jimi Hendrix, Iron Maiden..SRV..Cream..Rush....you know all those stuff....it is kinda hard to click..also not easy to find this type of songs there...

There was once I did Rock n Roll from Led Zep, all start to walk out of the KTV.....just not their type of song..I guess...hehehe

When I do Yellow Submarine, al least some does know that song...
