The Strokes anybody?

i have to agree this band has got one of the best sounds for the last 2 years. they just sound great together and the live performances are good. Good to see many strokes fans here. I was so heavy into them before and like someone said here, i fell in love with them all over again this week and all 3 albums are playing in my car now.

Fave song = there's smthing special about the song "Someday". simple and yet i cant get enough of it plus the video rocks...

Yes I think strokes are a very good band to play in the car too!

Thanks for the Ize of the World answer, i first heard that album in september last year and from then till now I never knew if I heard the true full song or not.

Totally love reptillia too, and I find how the singer's voice always strains whenever he goes into the higher parts or during the chorus of some songs awesome. Very very nice.

Its about the same, from late 70's to the early 80's

I would prefer 80's tho ( imo ) coz during the 70s is more of
Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd & Glam rock era
