the quest for a double pedals

I certainly would have loved to get me some of em Trick Bigfoot pedals, if I had all the cash la. They make Axis look like what the Camco's where to all other chain driven pedals present.

I tried both the DW 9002 and 5002 AD3 and quite honestly dont feel a huge difference between them. Perhaps the 9002 was set to Turbo cam so it wasnt as light and offset like I wanted it to be. I think in the end I have to choose between the Pearl Elims or Iron Cobra due to financial constraints.

The person I need to consult now is Daniel Erlandsson, seems he's the only dude I know which was endorsed by Axis then Pearl Elims and now Trick pedals. One moment he says all DD's are @#$% and now he is using Pro-V1. Cant trust endorsees as well I guess.

Ive owned DW5002 prior to 9002. For me, the difference's huge. Guess owning the thing for quite some time will make u feel more of the difference. And 9002 has no turbo nor accelerator cam. Its cam shaft are all universally adjustable.

Its more like what you like, its whether you like the feel of the pedal too.
Like say, there was once i was asked to compare the peace velocity and the yamaha flying dragon.
The flying dragon was smooth and light, the velocity wasn't as smooth as the flying dragon, but i prefered the velocity, because it had mass.
I don't like pedals that are too light that you don't really feel the kick.

So, its more of what you want, you should go around and try some for yourself.
cos when i first started out, i never liked the Iron cobras, but after playing them in a studio, i slowly got to like them after awhile. they weight and smoothness was just right.

yeap...if i ever get my hands on iron cobra beaters...i might add some weight to my dragons hahaha...and anw i have raised the footboard angle quite alot since that time too....tried bliss's suggestion... :)

i still cant play well on those velocities hahah!!! but its still bang for the buck

Changed the chain drive to belt drive courtesy of Bentley Music in KL and revert back to Black Cam instead of the Red Cam.
