The Post Rock Community in SG

heh, for a topic like this to spread till 7 or 8 pages, it prolly means its still pop music for the masses and not as exclusive as what threadstarter might have thought.

me likes ze minimal techno. scene is looking pretty good for it right now, especially with labels like kompakt on the rise.

Sorry... no professional cameras. Under contract with the band.

Personal digital cameras are ok.

but har seriously, its really not as small as it seem. When i first heard bout the post post thingy and hanging out with people over last couple years, local and some malaysians bands ppl, the post post thingy is more wide spread then it is...but then, not everyone like to talk bout it as much(or already so sick of the post post thingy and they dont even talk about it anymore).

Does having songs played on radio affect its value in any way? A good song will still remain a good song no matter how popular it is. :) I will still listen to post-rock even when it becomes the most popular music on earth.

And there are a couple of local radio stations (non-internet stations) which play non-mainstream music, such as your good old symphony FM and my favourite radio station - Lush 99.5FM. :D
