the "older" music

do softies listen to the "older" stuff ? Reason for asking, i see most posts related to the newer bands, but not nearly so many for bands like CCR, the Who, john mayall, fleetwood mac, cream and the like. Of course these bands suffer from one problem.... they're not coming out wih new songs! So all we have are what they've produced a while ago... but what a treasure trove of goodies that is !

apologies in advance if I'm wrong..... i've only joined a few months ago, so my sample set of posts I've scanned is not big. If you do listen to these greats, who's you favourite band ? and what are your favourite songs?

Vanilla Fudge is awesome..underrated band. The drummer Carmine Appice is largely overlooked...before there was Bonham, Paice..there was Appice
