You guys watched their latest concert with Rob in it? i think its Rock in rio? not too sure.... anyway first time feeling very emotional after hearing them play Nothing Else Matters, it was something like watching James Blunt sing Goodbye My Lover.... Oh well the show was cool, it was great to hear them play all their old stuff, like harvester of sorrow, creeping death & blackened but they din sound as fantastic as before from their old concerts.
Finally our idols are getting old, from the old "F*** Yeah!" now to "We love you babe-eah" hahaha
Gotta respect them dudes.
Wonder if they'd come back to Singapore to play...

I just watched it recently, i saw Kirk made a few mistakes in that video.
Firsly he made mistake while playing the first solo in One.
Secondly he's solo performance he missed a note and shakes head.
I'm pretty disappointed but i guess nobody is perfect and people makes mistake.

Cunning Stunts is one of the best performance by them imho.
Fav song from CS is FTB. The solo totally improvised like damn nice! :wink:
S&M I like their stuffs like Call of Ktulu, if not the new shit 'No Leaf Clover'
While i also like their early days in Live Binge And Purge..
Those days were really hardcore. They were so early and young, full of energy you can say... hahaha... :lol:

CS is good in terms of the sound effects. It has doulby 5.1 i think.. Which is why makes the whole concert somewhat looks live to you. :wink:

The Seattle gig from Live Shit is I think the best representation of Metallica live. At that point they are already playing arenas, with a huge stage production, but at the same time, the band still has that early thrash energy. That's my all time favourite recorded live document of Metallica. This was also a time when James addressed the crowd as 'f**kers' instead of the current and more polite "baybeh'
