The Latest Guitar-Gear Thread.

WHAT
This is a thread to serve the sole purpose of keeping up with the latest gear in our lovely guitar universe.

WHY
I spend a lot of time checking out guitar-gear related stuff on a daily basis. Yet, there is always something new that I have missed out. It is a golden-age of guitar-gear, we can use this thread to keep abreast of the avalanche of new guitar related products.
So let us all chip in and share what new, cool and exciting guitar-gear that we have unearthed, so that everyone can keep up to date with the latest gear, and make informed decisions on future purchases.

Also, this helps to consolidate all the 'new gear' threads, so that we will not have so many floating all over. Instead we can all just refer to one single thread where everything is lodged.

Hopefully everyone can chip in so that this will work out. But if it just fizzles out, at least I can say that I have tried.

Well, G.A.S away!

^They do, have seen it. But to me, it seems rather gimmicky. Don't know how well it actually works though.

And wow that TS808 looks great, has it been released?

Yeah I think you can get the handwired TS online already, but I don't think it's in Singapore yet.

But it's pretty pricey though, at least for a Tubescreamer. But then again, there's quite a number of boutique drives that are basically just souped-up variants of the TS.

And yeah I've seen the Hot-hand in TYMC before but it never occurred to me to give them a go. Maybe it's time to do so.

(:

the Ibanez TS808HW is on our shores already. i remember seeing it at swee lee BB a week ago. retailing at $600+ on the price tag.

wow, spider IV, have always been recommended the Roland Cube but wonder how's the SPider III compared to it, given Line 6 excellent (?) modelling capabilities...

But something worrying, the list of band presets that comes with the Spider IV... I dont know any of their music, except for 1 or 2. Clearly this amp is not aimed at older indies like me.

Anyway to add to this good thread, (don't let it wither) here's a carbon fibre electric guitar... looks good always enjoyed the looks of carbon fibre... wonder how it'll affect the tone...

Looks good, and at 5.9 pounds it's quite lightweight too. And it's quite affordable for a CA guitar I must say... Any chance Guitar Gallery might bring this in?

The models on the Spider IV are like almost all "br00tal metalz". Pretty awesome, I wonder how accurate the Meshuggah one is.

Honestly speaking those spider tones in the video doesn't sound GAS worthy at all, except for its several cool features.

Wow, I didn't know CA has electrics!

I've tried the CA range of acoustics though at Guitar Gallery, the cargos are really nice. And there's one that has a very huge bass response. Like a freaking cannon. I can't remember the exact model, but should you quote the above description to Terry, I'm sure he will know which one we're talking about. (:
