I almost pissed my pants with excitement when I saw this on their website!

For all those who doesn't know the Ibanez WH10, for me this is way ahead of their time for their technology. This is the most vocal, quackiest wah I've ever tried in my life :p Furthemore, this is currently the most trusted on-stage wah Frusciante from Red Hot Chilli Peppers users on their live concerts! How cool is that huh?

There’s nothing like the sound of a classic wah pedal to squeeze every ounce of expression out of a screaming solo or rhythm part. The Ibanez WH10V2 was a hit when it was first released in the ‘80s and now it’s back and even better.

The upgrade you will notice is the die-cast metal construction, replacing the original plastic case. Feel free to dance on this sucker now—it can take anything you dish out.

The WH10V2 features the same multiple feedback opamp circuit as the original, a feature rarely found in today’s wah pedals. It also has a depth knob to control to level of the wah effect and a dry out for mixing a dry signal with the wah sound. The WH10V2 has a unique tone character setting it apart from all traditional wah pedals, as well as some modern tweaks so your sound keeps changing with the times.

I will definitely call Swee Lee to pre-order this wah just in case they don't have the stocks yet.

This will be an awesome quacky year for me! :)

heh, it prolly helps that JF been a long time user on it and fr them to reissue it, prolly can bring in some extras for their effect branch

yeah and maybe Ibanez' thinking of those ridiculous price of WH10 version 1 on E-bays... why not re-issue their to get more proft..this is additional moolah for them. $350 for a plastic wah?!?? forget it...

Not bad move at them... this will indeed be a great wah year for me. I had this baby for a while and I stupidly sold it for a measly price... Extremely versatile wah-wah pedal. :)

the die cast metal enclsoure a good improvement. I supposed as long the reissue aint in the region of those ebay prices, it shud be able to sell.

anyone found out any info from Sweelee on this? I lazy to call. ;)

I called and it's not yet available.... proabably in Fall (September or November) can't wait!!

which wah pedal does this resemble?

I don't think this resembles anything... this was made in 80's (?) When you flick the switch to 'Bass' mode though, it reminds me of the old 80's DOD FX17 Wah/ Volume... and also EHX The Worm Wah mode,... though the good thing about the WH10 is that you can easily 'control' the sound and it's more funky for me and has more bass.

This wah can easily cut in high gain settings as well...

haha, pai-seh ah. Anyway, TS is kind enough to share with us his findings.
Wah, have to wait a few more months. Anyway, this gear looks good.

so it might not be the same as the original wh10

i've got tenspot wah clone of the wh10 which replicates John's live wah sound rather accurately, nevertheless i'm gonna get this wh10v2 when it comes out.

This is one pedal I will buy.

that's the spirit! :D

I tell you bro... THIS IS TOTALLY WORTH IT. I'm almost in the edge of buying the $200 Budda Wah in EFX Sale section but I'm glad I held back... this wah's only $99!!!

and for more action...

here's my playing my old 'gone' WH10 version 1 --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_PrF_kkckU
