The Great Spy Experiment

the great spies have been dormant for a while since some of their members were overseas for the festive season. i'm glad to report that the entire band is now back on our lovely little island and is making noise once more. this was from yesterday's safra corporate gig @ st. james powerhouse:

Oh man.. GSE please come back to TP and play for us again!!!! Haha.

Hi Crimson,

Just so you know, we've hooked up and talked to the Student Affairs department on the night of TPrawks when we knew about TP students not being able to get in the show.

We felt unjustified for the treatment you guys gotten and have proposed that we come back and do a show just for you all.

We are still in talks at the moment and will keep you informed as soon as we manage to work something out.

Keep rocking..

Mike

whee. mike rocks.

anyway, if any of you missed stasis 10: curtain call, i suggest you start banging your head against the wall. the great spy experiment played an awesome set, alongside other awesome bands (no kidding! check the lineup!). basically, no one was sitting down from b-quartet onwards. good music in such a good, cosy atmosphere. such an awesome vibe. and singing in unison with a room full of people to GSE songs was an incredible feeling. just take a look at the video!

and of course, not forgetting some snapshots i took of the gig.

haha! i guess he was 'high' in a sense, from all the crowd-chanting and screaming. the last song sure was a kickass one. it's builds up to a climax and bam! you should have been there, bro!

if you're feeling free, do come down to the next show on the 19th.

apalcos:
i am more than glad to be of service :)

hello all!

there's a video from the SAFRA gig here:
Club STOMP

only one song though.

check out the rest of the vids at yr own risk, esp the Hottest Legs one. i'm sure anyone who was there would agree it was entertaining, to say the least. haha

hello.

it's been a while since the last GSE performance (which was stasis 10, i believe) and this thread has probably been neglected in the shadows for a while now.

nonetheless, the crowd who turned up for GSE's acoustic set on sunday was simply amazing. i've never seen the concourse being that crowded, ever. and with the guest appearance of joan chew on violin, the acoustic renditions were nothing short of beautiful, to say the least.

i've already spoken too much. here are the pictures:
